The International Movement ATD Fourth World is in the midst of preparing, in collaboration with Sciences Po, a forthcoming international conference based on the the relevance to today’s world of the thinking of its founder. Exclusion As A Challenge To Democracy: The Contribution Of Joseph Wresinski will take place in December 2008 and bring together more than 300 academics, researchers and actors in the fight against extreme poverty and social exclusion, including many who have themselves lived in extreme poverty.
