Strong families, strong children
On the occasion of the event "Breaking the poverty cycle - Strengthening families and communities" taking place in Brussels, 18-19 November 2010, SOS Children’s Villages is launching a publication on family strengthening activities worldwide.
The publication covers different angles of how children and their families experience poverty and identifies ways out of poverty and how SOS Children’s Villages contributes to breaking the cycle of poverty.
Additionally, "Strong families, strong children" features a foreword by the European Commissioner for Development and an article from International Movement ATD Fourth World, a non-governmental organization for the eradication of extreme poverty.
