Dare to meet each other! This is what all of us have been doing through marking the International Day for the Eradication of Poverty. There were more than 250 events which took place in over 43 countries around the world. You can find out more about these events on the Forum’s website (www.overcomingpoverty.org). There are new articles on the International Day being posted regularly on the website. It’s not too late for you to send us your article, together with a few photos if you would like.

Influencing International Organizations Permanent Forum correspondents play a large, often unrecognized role in reinforcing social ties in their communities. That’s why the Permanent Forum helps enable them to make their voices heard as stakeholders in international public life.
