Last March, the ATD Fourth World’s representative to Unecso and a member of our regional team took part in the Collective Consultation of NGOs on Education for All (EFA) held in Dhaka, Bangladesh. This meeting examined the progress towards achieving the Education For All goals for the most marginalized people against the background of the various crises of recent years.

ATD Fourth World in Haiti takes the experiences of families living in the Grande Ravine district to the UN to contribute to discussions on the future of Haiti.

Like the previous years, Oct 17 in Manila was held by the commemorative stone in the Rizal Park. It was the official start of the National Week of Overcoming Poverty (Oct 17 - 23).

We then developed our activities in the region with teams of permanent volunteers in Bolivia, Haiti, Mexico, and Peru. We also have groups of friends and allies in Brazil, Guadeloupe (an overseas département of France), Honduras and El Salvador.
